Hot chocolate is an excellent beverage to warm up with. Easily turn your hot chocolate into a lifted creation by adding cannamilk.
Cannabis Infused Milk
Make cannabis infused milk easily.
1. Decarboxylate Cannabis
First, decarboxylate cannabis by baking chopped up cannabis in the oven at 240°F for 30 minutes.
2. Infuse Milk
Next, add decarbed cannabis to milk and heat to 175-180°F over medium heat. Maintain this temperature for 45 minutes to an hour. Stir often because skin will form otherwise. Use a heavy pot or a double boiler in order to prevent scorching.
There are many kinds of thermometers available for kitchen use. In fact, you can use a variety of thermometers for this recipe including a meat thermometer, candy thermometer or instant read thermometer.
Strain through a fine strainer or cheesecloth. Squish firmly to extract all of the milk from the cannabis plant material. Now you have cannamilk.
Other Methods of Infusing Lifted Hot Chocolate
You can make hot chocolate with infused chocolate in case you don’t have cannamilk. Simply heat a cup of milk in the microwave until it’s hot, then add crumbled cannabis infused chocolate and stir until thoroughly mixed.
Lifted Hot Chocolate
- 3/4 c water
- 3 tbsp instant hot chocolate mix
- 1/4 c cannamilk
- Boil water.
- Add hot chocolate mix to a large mug, then add boiling water. Mix thoroughly.
- Add cannamilk to hot chocolate and stir.
